With Delhi elections polling date coming closer, all the political parties have paced their bid to attract the masses and influence them to vote for their candidate.
The principle of ‘saam, daam, dand and bhed' is quite evidently used by the political heavyweights for getting the favorable results anyhow and at any cost.
Amid such scenario, there is high possibility of politicians using ‘bribery' as an influential tool to manipulate the voters' choice.
Though, the central government has ‘termed' the bribery (both taking and giving) under criminal offense but the practice of ‘bribery' still prevails.
Here are some ways in which Delhi Voters are likely to be bribed:
1. Cash with newspaper
Be careful when you collect your newspaper in the morning, as you might get cash envelopes from the hawker along with the happenings around the world.
2. Milky bribe
Don't get shocked if you find milk-man bringing cash-envelopes with the milk bottle or packets, it is yet another tactic of politicians to buy your vote.
3. Community politics
There is a great possibility of community leaders being given money for influencing the entire group of members to vote in favor of a specific ‘candidate'.
4. Liquor and drugs
Distributing liquor bottles and drugs is the most tried & tested method by the political parties for influencing the electorate to vote in their favour.
5. Rural wooing
Giving away free cows, buffaloes and solar lamps is the new hoax by the parties to attract the rural voter base.
6. Black Money
Political parties or candidates may even raise black money under the pretext of coupon sale.
7. Luxury bribe
Rural voters might get freebies like TV, refrigerator, video-recorders and cash in return of their ‘precious' vote.
8. Funding & organizing marriages
Posing as your well-wisher, politicians would even go to the extent of funding and organizing mass marriage functions during the election procedure.
9. Reimbursing bills
Paying the fuel bills through negotiated deals with petrol pump owners is another way of wooing the potential voters.
10. Reimbursing loans

We hope Delhi electoral don't fall out to such bribes and cast their vote to the right candidate. After all it is our responsibility to maintain the great democratic nature of our country by voting in favour of the person we like.
