Don’t we all love to receive a welcome present on our first day of the new job? Well, flowers are most likely to be on top of everyone’s list. This US man also received flowers on the first day of his new job, however, months later he realized that it was not for him but for a colleague. A man in the US found himself in a hilariously awkward situation when he came to know that the flowers, he had received on the first day of his new job were for someone else. Months later he, Jon Qui Qui, realized the goof and shared the funny story on his Twitter and wrote, “I found out these flowers were misplaced on my desk and supposed to be for someone going on maternity leave because they don’t give flowers to new hires but they saw me taking pics with them and felt too bad and to take them away I’m cackling.”
Along with the post, Jon Qui Qui shared pictures of himself posing with the flowers. He also revealed that since he had also received a box of welcome gifts from the company, he assumed that the flowers were a part of the experience. The original tweet was shared by Qui Qui in October last year. The tweet gave a reason to smile to many people and made their Monday morning.
