Pranks with mysteriously hidden meanings are not new. From freaking out people with various ghostly masks to putting eerie notes by the bedside of people, there are all kinds of pranks that we play on each other. But looks like strangers have also decided to leave others scared with hidden messages on banana peels. American television writer-producer Kevin Biegel took to Twitter to share a similar incident that happened with him He shared that he recently bought some bananas from a supermarket and saw ‘scary’ hidden message written on its peel. Biegel tweeted, “Scratching haunting things into bananas at the market so when people take them home hours later and the words appear they think a ghost knows their secrets.” He also shared photos of the bananas showing a message ‘I know what you did’ written on it.
While the act was scary, the producer found it amusing as he wrote, ‘new favorite thing’. The moment his tweet popped on the internet, Twitterati went bananas over it by giving it more than 60,000 likes in a single day. In fact, Tweeple couldn’t stop themselves from coming up with more scary statements and one-liners that could be written on the peels of the fruits.
