Like always Mumbai Police has yet again managed to win our hearts with their incredible wordplay and sense of humor in their latest tweet. We all cannot agree more that 'Aamchi Mumbai' police has the coolest social media ninjas. As the 91st Academy Awards took place at Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles and India also marked its spot at the award gala.
Period. End of Sentence, a film set in India on the taboos around menstruation wins an Oscar in Documentary Short Subject category. Produced by Guneet Monga and directed by Iranian-American filmmaker Rayka Zehtabchi, the film talks about menstrual hygiene and how women of Hapur village in UP led a revolution by fighting against the deeply-rooted stigma.
What's next after that? Mumbai Police did take its Twitter account and shared a new poster using the film's title "Period. End of Sentence". Their latest tweet says: "If cities were given an Oscar, Mumbai would have bagged some of the trophies definitely! #LoveTheCityWeServe #IfCitiesWonOscars"
The content written on the poster is in regard to Mumbaikars' safety in the city. The coolest cops believe that Mumbai is the safest place for both men and women to roam around. Words like "No compromises on Mumbai's safety. PERIOD." can be read on the poster.
