The most joyous time of the year is here and the whole world is diving in the Christmas cheer. Not just the whole world, but Google is also celebrating Christmas as it rolled out an animated Doodle wishing everyone Merry Christmas. The Google blog post read, “It’s that festive time of year again! Sending along Holiday cheer to you & your loved ones during this merry time. Happy Holidays!”.
In the animated Doodle, Google logo is decorated with cute Christmas ornaments and a Christmas tree is also made at the place of the letter ‘L’. There are also multiple gifts kept below the Christmas tree. Adding to the Christmas cheer are two reindeers; one resting on a sofa and other on floor. There is also an elf resting on a rocking chair with a gift in his hand. Well, who can forget Santa Claus on Christmas. He is also seen resting on his rocking chair with one leg resting on a gift.
Google Doodle rolls out special Doodle to spread Christmas cheer
Not just today, but the search engine started rolling out their annual Happy Holidays doodles from Sunday. Christmas is the starting point of all the celebrations and even mark the beginning of the holidays. Another interesting thing to notice in the Google is that, when you move the cursor of your mouse on the doodle, you can see 'Happy Holidays' written.
Christmas is celebrated every year on 25th December as the birth of Jesus Christ. A week before this days, all the markets and homes get decked up with lights and decorations. People bring Christmas tree in their homes and decorate them and exchange gifts. Plum cakes and Christmas carols add further to the celebrations. Christmas is even more special for children, as they wait for Santa Claus to bring their gifts.
