With the holy month of ‘Movember' coming to an end, the journey would surely be remembered by those who religiously followed it.

The month had men from around the world grow moustaches with intent to spread awareness about man related health issues; we will look at some of our own actors who have splendidly carried of their whiskers.

With the healthy exception of Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff, most of our film stars prefer a clean-shaven look on and off screen, but when their character demands them to wear a moustache they make every effort to look dapper in their new avatar.

Take a look:

1) Amir Khan in Talaash

Similar to the movie, there is a kind of mystery shrouded around his chevron moustache; Aamir used his walrus to full effect in order to bring more authenticity to his character

2) Akshay Kumar in Rowdy Rathore

This mustache has manliness written all over it. Fear the one who keeps such a moustache because if he twirls it then villain's ass in complete danger.

Akshay has also worn mustaches in his earlier films like Chandni Chowk to China, Jaanwar etc.

3) Shah Rukh Khan in Rab Ne bana Di Jodi

Shah Rukh donned a bristlier in his geeky avatar as Surinder Suri, justifying his character of an introvert who wanted to keep things low and simple. Mr. Khan has also sported it in his earlier works like, Paheli and Army.

4) Ajay Devgan as Sultan Mirza

Ajay Devgan is definitely the one actor who has worn mustache in most of his memorable work. Be it his devilish look in Omkara or gentlemanly look in Gangajal, whenever he donned a mustache, he garnered praise all around but his portrayal of Sultan Mirza surpasses all his earlier work and style.

5) Salman khan as Dabangg

When 'Bhai' decided to don a mustache in Dabangg, he made sure everything gets in place. He carried off a pencil thin mustache with aplomb, and we all know how Robinhood Pandey was adored all over the country.

6) Shahid Kapoor in Mausam

Shahid's thin upper lip mustache in Mausam had the ladies going weak in their knees, it was a perfect gentleman' look. Despite of the movie being bombed at the box office, Shahid surely would be remembered his look.

7) Ranbir Kapoor in Barfi

Ranbir Kapoor in his ‘chaplinesque' avatar carried off a thin moustache in Barfi, that brought in a certain vulnerability to his character. In Rockstar, his stache added to the intense portrayal of a torn artist.

8) Ranveer Singh in Ramleela

Ranveer sported a handlebar in Ramleela and he grew so fond of it that even after the movie was released he refused to get rid of it for a long time.

9) Jimmy Shergil as Saheb

Jimmy's portrayal of ‘Saheb' in ‘Sahib Biwi and Gangster' is the one that won't easily fade from audience's memory and his stache in the movie gave him that brute Rajputana look that terrified the enemies and seduced the ladies.

10) Neil Nitin Mukesh in Saat Khhon Maaf

Though actor hasn't been able to create flutter with his performances but his looks in ‘Saat Khoon Maaf' was a showstopper.
