A Sikh student Angad Singh Padda from Berkeley College, University of California, has become an internet sensation for all the right reasons. His speech to unite the world is extremely inspirational and, will move you to the core. The viral video, which has received an amazing1,34,000 views on YouTube till now, talks about creating the world without borders. “That intense beat right there was everybody’s heartbeat right before we opened our admissions letters,” said Padda, who wore a bright yellow turban. 

 

“When I got in I was so happy my face was as bright as this turban.” He continues. “On a serious note, for this speech to work I need everybody’s help. For a couple of seconds, please, close your eyes, everybody. Think about that one problem that matters most to you, that one issue you really need to be resolved to make this world a better place. Now open your eyes. That right there is the core of my speech today,” Padda’s says as begins the core of his speech.

Apart from giving a stirring speech, the UC Berkeley Leadership Award Recipient from Chandigarh also played tabla before his speech to showcase that all Berkeley students want to make a world where there is no I or me “but only us and only we. Through his emotional speech, Padda appealed to the 400 members of the class which had graduated, to use the education that they had gained to look beyond themselves and put in efforts to make the world a better place.
