Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh's Dera Sacha Sauda used to earn Rs 16 Lakh daily and its net worth crossed billions. Ram Rahim's religious cult's annual income is more than Rs 60 crore annually, according to reports.

The 50-year-old self-styled godman is lodged in Rohtak's Sunaria jail for raping two sadhvis who were his followers. Dera Sacha Sauda chief was convicted for rapes and has been sentenced to 20 years rigorous imprisonment. In jail, Ram Rahim, who had millions of followers, will get Rs 20 daily for farming work like - growing vegetables, trimming trees, maintaining lawns, etc. His job comes under unskilled work category, according to jail authorities. 

There are reports of him being a 'disciplined inmate'. Reports also say he is not creating any fuss over food or any other matter as of now.

The day the 'love charger' godman was convicted, there was widespread violence in Haryana and neighbouring states. At least 36 people had died in the violence and arson in Panchkula. The Haryana Police is still on a lookout for his close associate and his adopted 'daughter' Honeypreet in connection with the violence.

Dera continues to receive huge amount of income, thanks to a massive popularity that remains unperturbed by the scandals, according to media reports. The Dera's properties are worth billions of rupees and income per day is no less than Rs 16 lakh.  

Meanwhile, a woman follower of Gurmeet Ram Rahim has claimed that her child is missing from Dera headquarters in Sirsa since last 12 years, India Today has reported. The report said that a Panipat woman alleged that she donated her 2-month-old kid to Dera after being persuaded to do so through an advertisement. The woman said she was a staunch supporter of Dera Sacha Sauda and was lured by an advertisement in newspaper published by the Dera itself which urged supporters to donate their children for sewa (service) at Sirsa heaquarters.
