Road infra company Bharat Road Network Limited (BRNL) today reported a nearly 13 fold increase in its standalone net profit to Rs 10.89 crore in the quarter ended December 31, 2017 as compared to Rs 84 lakh in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
The company's standalone revenues more than trebled to Rs 21.42 crore during the quarter from Rs 6.14 crore in the corresponding period of previous year, the company said in a statement.
The company has witnessed a healthy traffic growth across the operating projects in its portfolio. The average daily traffic growth in passenger car unit (PCU) terms for the quarter ended December 31, 2017 increased by 7.2 per cent over the same quarter of previous year.
The total toll revenue increased by 73 per cent to Rs 154.30 crore during the quarter as against Rs 89.20 crore in the corresponding quarter of last year.
