New Delhi: XOLO has launched a new mid-range smartphone, the LT2000, at Rs 9,999. Xolo LT2000 is available on Snapdeal, Flipkart, and Amazon; however the company is yet to be listed on its website.
Xolo LT2000 is a dual-SIM device and features a 5.5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) resolution display protected with Dragontrail glass. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2GHz.
The handset comes with 1GB of RAM and Adreno 306 GPU clocked at 400MHz. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat, with a promise to release an Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the smartphone in the future.
The device features an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with a BSI 2 sensor and LED flash, apart from a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Inbuilt storage includes 8GB, which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 32GB).
Connectivity features include 4G TDD and FDD LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro-USB with OTG, and A-GPS. The device is backed by a 2920mAh battery.
Xolo has also introduced a self-updating phonebook app called 6degrees for LT2000 users. 6degrees is said to offer a comprehensive suite of features that take care of all contact book needs including calling, messaging and managing connections, ensuring that the phonebook is updated, every time any friend changes their contact details. Users can also search for shops and restaurants, or request friends for their contacts.
The app will be available to the LT2000 users through an OTA update, which will be released in the following week of the launch. OTA update can also be manually downloaded from the official XOLO support site.
