New Delhi: Xolo has launched its much-awaited slim, sleek and stylish 5.0 inch HD IPS Display handset, the Xolo Q1000S. The new smartphone comes with a thickness of 6.98mm and a weight of 158 g, for Rs. 18,999.
Part of the Q series, Xolo Q1000S is a classy looking device that comes with a 5-inch 720p IPS display with OGS technology, which makes the colors more vibrant. Under the hood, the Q1000S packs a 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor along with 1 GB of RAM.
The device also has a 13 megapixel rear camera with BSI 2 sensor, 5 megapixel front facing shooter, and 16 GB of internal memory. The 13 MP Camera is capable of recording Full HD 1080p videos and capturing clear images even when the camera is shaking using the image stabilization technology. Other features offered under the camera section include scene detection and tuning, high dynamic range (HDR), low light enhancement, face recognition( for focusing as well as in gallery), panorama capture and geo tagging. The device's camera can capture up to 99 shots through its burst mode feature so that you don't miss any moment.
The device runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The phablet gets it juice from a 2500 mAh battery slim which delivers a music playback time up to 53 hours (via internal speakers) and up to 34.6 hours (via wired headset).
There is a 16 GB internal storage capacity and the handset lacks a microSD card support. Connectivity options include USB, Bluetooth, WiFi, WLAN and 3G.
The handset competes against the likes of Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos I9082, Nokia Lumia 820, LG Optimus L9 P765, Lenovo Ideaphone S920 and Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8.
Xolo is already offering Xolo Q600, Q700, Q800, and Q1000 in its 'Q' Series and their price varies from Rs. 8,999 to 14,999. The flagship smartphone for Xolo is the X1000, which comes with a 2GHz Intel processor and is priced at Rs. 19,999.
