New Delhi: Xolo unveiled Era 4G, with 4G LTE support on both the SIM card slots. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 4,777 and will be available exclusively via Snapdeal, which will start on February 26 in a flash sale model. The company has confirmed that registrations for the Xolo Era 4G has already open.
Xolo has also previously in a press statement revealed that the Era-range of smartphones saw 150,000 units sold via Snapdeal. Also the Xolo Era 4G comes with multilingual support for regional languages, which includes Assamese, Bengali, Kannada, Gujarati, Malayalam, Odia, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil, and Telugu. The device runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box while the company also guarantees an Android 6.0 Marshmallow update in future.
The Xolo Era 4G features a 5-inch IPS display with a HD (720x1280 pixels) screen resolution and a pixel density of roughly 294ppi. The smartphone comes with Corning Gorilla Glass for protection. It is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor which is coupled with 1GB of RAM. It also packs 8GB inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 32GB). The handset sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It is backed by a 2500mAh battery.
In terms of connectivity options of the Xolo Era 4G include 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with hotspot functionality, Bluetooth v4.0, Micro-USB 2.0, FM radio, USB-OTG and GPS/ A-GPS, apart from 4G.
