A Mi fan has made a interesting parody music video of CEO Lei Jun, who recently launched its ambitious Xiaomi Mi 4i smartphone in India.
The video captures Jun's awkwardly phrased English and the video has got the auto-tune treatment which also tends to repeat Jun's ‘Are You OK?' statement ad-nauseum.
The vidoe has received over 6,500 views. Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun has reportedly said that he will work on his English as the company has plans to expand their business overseas.
Ironically, Xiaomi's India Head Manu Jain tweeted out the below video, all in good spirit, with the hashtag #AreYouOk.
Xiaomi Corp's Lei Jun, whom TIME magazine recently named as 100 Most Influential People along with Apple CEO Tim Cook, has blitzed China's social media with his "are you ok" promotional speech in India.
Lei Jun, dressed in a formal dark suit, opened his speech with "hello, how are you, Indian Mi fans." However, Jun seemingly didn't feel embarrassed. With a sincere look on his face, he carried on with his tongue-tied English speech, telling the audience that he would give all of them a MiBand fitness tracker free of charge.
Xiaomi, frequently referred to as China's cheaper Apple, unveiled its first smartphone -Mi 4i- aimed at overseas consumers in India late last month.
