New Delhi: Samsung has officially launched its mid-range Android handset, the Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2, in India. The device is now listed on the Samsung's India online store for Rs. 10,999. The Galaxy S Duos 2 is also available via online retailers at a discounted price of Rs 10,730.
The Galaxy S Duos 2 comes with a 4-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor paired with 768MB of RAM.
The device sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, VGA front camera, 4GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 64GB using a microSD card and a 1,500mAh battery, which the company claims is good enough to survive 8 hours of talktime and 280 hours on standby mode.
Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth. The device runs on on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean wrapped under Samsung's TouchWiz UI.
