New Delhi: Samsung has launched the successor of its most successful mid-range phablet in India. Samsung India hints that the tablet would be priced in the range of Rs. 22,900 – 24,900.
The phone measures 146.8 x 75.3 x 8.9 mm and weighs 163g.
The GALAXY Grand 2 sports a 5.2 inch HD TFT display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels, and is powered by Quad Core 1.2GHz processor, coupled with 1.5GB RAM, 8GB Internal Memory, which can be expanded upto 64GB via microSD card.
The screen of the smartphone comes with a 16:9 HD ratio or a wide angle ratio, which is well-suited for movies, playing games, etc. It is a dual-SIM phone that sports a 8 megapixel camera along with a front camera of 1.9MP and is capable of shooting and recording in HD mode.
The phablet runs on Android Jelly Bean version 4.3, and packs 2,600mAh battery. As per Samsung, the battery will deliver up to 10 hours of playback and 17 hours of calls. Connectivity options include WiFi, BlueTooth 4.0, GPS, and USB 2.0.
Sensors on the list include: Proximity, Accelerometer, Compass, Light, Hall Sensor.
