The Nokia Asha 502 is based on Nokia Asha Platform 1.1 and supports firmware over-the-air (FOTA) update. The platform introduces a new UI with easy swipe-able multiple homescreens with Fastlane feature amongst others. It offers both a traditional icon-oriented home screen and a secondary list, called Fastlane, where frequently used features are organized. This makes users instantly access their favorite apps and social networks.
