New Delhi: Finnish handset maker Nokia has said both the Nokia Asha 502 Dual SIM and the Asha 503 will be available in India this month. The Nokia Conversations blog has announced that the two phones are currently available in markets across the Asia Pacific and IMEA regions.
Both devices will reportedly be available through online retailers and Nokia retail outlets within a week. However, except Saholic currently none of the Indian retail sites have listed them.
The phones are likely to cost under Rs 10,000 based on the previous Asha phones.
At an event held in October, Nokia had announced the Asha 502 for $89 that amounts to approximately Rs 5,400, and the Asha 503 for $99 that is approximately Rs 6,000.
Both Asha 502 dual SIM and the 503 sport a 3-inch display with 240 x 320 pixels of resolution and also get a layer of Gorilla Glass 2 protection.
Other features include 5 megapixel rear camera, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 and microSD card slots. They also feature social networking integration (Facebook, Twitter, Sina Weibo, LINE, WeChat) and Nokia's data compressing Xpress Browser.
The 502 will be available in six options of red, black, white, blue, green and yellow.
Asha 502 Dual SIM specifications:
Asha 502 sports a 3-inch 320 x 240p display and uses a microSIM card in either of its two slots. The phone sports a 5MP rear camera and offers 4x digital zoom and LED flash. The device is supported by Nokia Asha software platform 1.1. The phone measures 99.6mm x 59.5mm x 11.1mm and 100g, respectively. An integrated 1010mAh battery delivers up to 13.7 hours of 2G talk time.
Features of the Asha 503:
The single SIM Asha 503 measures 102.6mm x 60.6mm x 12.7mm and weighs 110.2g. Hidden under the hood is a 1200mAh battery. It renders 4.5 hours of 3G talk time or 12 hours of the same on 2G networks. It is run by Nokia Asha software platform 1.2.
