New Delhi: Just after announcing the Ascend P7 with LTE connectivity, the Chinese handset maker Huawei has launched the Honor 3C, in India for Rs 14,999. The device is not available as of now but it is said that the smartphone will hit the shelves soon.
The device comes with a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) LTPS screen, powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) with Huawei's own Emotion UI 2.0 on top.
It features 8MP rear camera with LED Flash, Sony BSI sensor and f/2.0 aperture. It also has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The phone is compact given that it has a screen to body ratio of 69 per cent and the 4.5 mm upper bezel, 2.2 mm bezel on the side. The device offers 2GB RAM and packs a 2300 mAh battery with power saving technology that uses 30 per cent more battery life.
The device will compete against the likes of Galaxy Grand Quattro, Sony Xperia M, and Nokia XL among others.
