New Delhi: BSNL, in association with Pantel Technologies, has launched the next generation of smart devices - the "Bharat Phone" PF300, the Penta Smart models - PS501 & PS650, and, the next generation Penta T-Pad WS707C respectively.
 
BSNL's latest launch, the Bharat Phone, offers a great opportunity to the company to capture the mass market in bigger way. At an affordable price of Rs.1,799, this device will deliver the power of the Internet in the hands of the common man. The company is pinning high hopes on with Bharat Phone in the feature phone segment.

The Bharat Phone PF 300 comes with a 3 inch display with a standard keyboard at the bottom. The phone runs on Java operating system and allows users to access Internet in form of Email, Facebook, downloading music and videos.

It is a dual-SIM phone that gets its juice from a 1800 mAh battery. The company claims standby time of 15 days and 10 hours of talk time from this battery. In addition, the PF300 comes with 64 MB of RAM and 64 MB of internal storage.

The Bharat Phone also has a 1.3 MP camera and comes pre-bundeled with 1200 minutes of talktime on BSNL networks.  
 
The slim PentaBharat Phone also supports Auto Voice Call Recording; SMS Scheduler and Stereo FM and recording.

Though recent data released by CMR India showed a minute decline in growth, undeniably market is still huge. The key to Bharat Phone's success will certainly lie in its effective marketing and promotional strategies.
