Mumbai: Taxi-hailing app Uber will launch its services in seven more cities in the country, making India its largest geographic market outside theUS.
The company will launch its services in tier-II cities like Bhubaneswar, Coimbatore, Indore, Mysore, Nagpur, Surat and Visakhapatnam, from tomorrow.
With this launch Uber will be available in 18 cities in the country, the company said in a statement.
"The rapid 40 per cent month on month growth we continue to see in India is unprecedented," Uber Head of Expansion for India and the Subcontinent Neeraj Singhal said.
