New Delhi: Spice has launched two new smartphones, the Stellar 517 and Stellar 470. The phones have been listed on the company's site at Rs 7,999.
Both the Stellar 517 and the Stellar 470 feature dual-SIM (GSM-GSM) support along with dual standby, apart from 3G connectivity on both SIM cards. Both the devices are powered by an unspecified 1.3GHz quad-core SoC coupled with 1GB of RAM. They run Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box.
The Spice Stellar 517 features a 5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixel) IPS LCD display and bears an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, and 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with 8GB of built-in storage with no word on expansion via microSD card. Connectivity options include GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB, GPS/ A-GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack. A 3000mAh battery backs the handset, which measures 147.3x73.8x9.8mm, and will be available in White and Grey colour variants.
The Stellar 470 comes with a 4.7-inch qHD (540x960 pixel) IPS display and houses an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, and a 3.2-megapixel front-facing camera. It features 8GB of built-in storage with no word on expansion via microSD card. Connectivity options include GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB, GPS/ A-GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack. A 1500mAh battery backs the handset, which measures 137.8x68.6x7.9mm and will be available in Black and Blue colour variants.
