Mumbai, Feb 29: Singapore Airlines and its low-cost subsidiary SilkAir today announced a special fare on the India-Australia sector, starting from Rs 49,000, for travel up to September 20.
The all-inclusive fares are valid for a minimum of two persons travelling together, and are in association with Tourism Australia, a statement said.
“Singapore Airlines and SilkAir have been the preferred carriers for travellers on the India-Australia route as we offer excellent connectivity, with 84 weekly flights from India to Singapore and 92 weekly flights from Singapore to Australia,” Singapore Airlines general manager for India G M Toh said.
The special promotional fare will be available for departures from ten Singapore Airlines and SilkAir gateway cities in the country—Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Thiruvananthapuram, while destinations in Australia are Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney and Darwin.
