New Delhi, Sept 14: Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit today openly came out in support of diesel price hike and cut in LPG subsidy for households.
"Six LPG cylinders a year for an average family are enough", said Dikshit.
The chief minister said, diesel price hike was a necessity, and the decision was taken after due consideration.
"As of today, diesel is the cheapest in Delhi, and if we can do something (to lower the hike), we will do", she added.
