New Delhi: Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 has landed in India and is available through the company's eStore at Rs 20,900. The device is soon expected to hit the offline stores soon as well.
The Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 offers mid-range specs and is the successor to the Mega 5.8 and 6.3. The device recently went official in the US via AT&T and it's also on sale in select locations across Asia. For India, the company has launched the SM-G750H version which reportedly comes with a 64-bit processor.
The device comes with a 6-inch TFT monitor offering an HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad core processor coupled by a 1.5GB RAM. There's an 8MP rear camera onboard as well, apart from a 5MP front snapper.
It runs Android 4.4 KitKat OS, but offers its own user interface and proprietary apps. These include Group Play, S Health, Ultra Power Saving Mod and more. The handset will shortly receive Android 5.0 Lollipop update.
Internal storage includes 8GB which can be further expanded by up to 64GB through a micro-SD card. It can be bought in the familiar white and black color options.
Mega 2 has been enriched the connectivity features like Wi-fi, NFC, GPS with GLONASS and Bluetooth 4.0.
