New Delhi, May 16: Rovio has said they have tied up with Sony Pictures for their upcoming Angry Birds movie.

The Angry Birds movie will be a 3-D animated comedy release sometime in 2016. It will be produced by John Cohen, the producer for Despicable Me. The partnership between Rovio and Sony Pictures was announced via tweet earlier today. Rovio CEO Mikael Hed said.
