New Delhi: Nokia has launched three new phones under its low-cost Asha series - Nokia Asha 500, Asha 502 and Asha 503. The prices of the new Asha phones start at $69.The Nokia Asha 500, Asha 502, Asha 503 are priced at $69, $89, and $99 respectively. The Asha 503 is a 3G smartphone. All the three Asha phones sport the same primary colored plastic casing as the 501, but with a new "Ice" layer of transparent polycarbonate. They'll be available in bright red, bright green, yellow, cyan, white and black. The company mentions that the Asha 500, Asha 502 and Asha 503 will be rolling out in Q4 2013.The Nokia Asha 500 has a 2.8-inch QVGA display and sports 2-megapixel rear camera. The Asha 500 is available in single-SIM and Easy Swap dual-SIM options. It will cost approximately Rs 4,200 excluding local taxes and subsidies, and will be rolled out in Q4, in Africa, Asia-Pacific, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East.The Nokia Asha 502 has a 3-inch display and comes with a 5-megapixel camera accompanied by an LED flash. The Asha 502 comes only in dual-SIM variant with Nokia's Easy Swap technology. It costs Rs. 5,500 approximately excluding local taxes and subsidies, and will be rolled out in Africa, Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East.The higher-end Nokia Asha 503 is the first Asha touchscreen phone that comes with 3G support. It has 3-inch display boasting Corning Gorilla Glass 2. The Asha 503 is available in single SIM and Easy Swap dual-SIM. It costs Rs 6,100 approximately excluding local taxes and subsidies, and will be rolled out in Africa, Asia-Pacific, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East.One of the new feature of the new Asha series is is the ability to take a photo with a single swipe, which you can share it instantly to your social network of choice with a single tap. Nokia also announced that the social feature on Fastlane, Asha's list-like view of recent activity, is now customizable.
