New Delhi: Motorola has launched the 4G version of its budget handset, the Moto E, in India at Rs 7,999. It will be a Flipkart exclusive like the rest of the Motorola smartphones.
The e-commerce company has listed the estimated date of the device as April 23, whereas the estimated delivery date is April 28.
Moto E (Gen 2) LTE comes with a 4.5-inch qHD (540x960 pixel) display with a pixel density of 245ppi, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection along with anti-smudge coating.
The new Moto E is powered by a 64-bit quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC (with Adreno 306), paired with 1GB of RAM. Inbuilt storage includes 8GB which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 32GB).
It comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera, and this time Motorola has included a VGA (0.3-megapixel) sensor.
Connectivity options on the Moto E (Gen 2) LTE include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0LE, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, FM radio, and Micro-USB. The handset measures 129.9x66.8x12.3mm, and weighs 145 grams. It is backed by a 2390mAh battery.
The new Moto E runs Android Lollipop, the latest version of the world's most popular mobile operating system.
