New Delhi: The second generation of Moto X smartphone will go on sale on Flipkart.com starting from midnight of September 24. The phone has been priced at Rs 31,999 in India.
At Rs 31,999, the new Moto X is Rs 8,000 costlier than the first-gen Moto X which was launched in India at Rs 23,999 onwards.
The new Moto X comes with a 5.2inch AMOLED (1080×1920 pixel) Full HD display with a pixel density of 423 ppi, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device is powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974-AC) processor along with Adreno 330@578 MHz GPU. The smartphone comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory.
The new Moto X features a 13 megapixel rear camera with a f/2.25 lens with 4K ultra HD video recording and dual-LED ring flash. Interesting camera features include Burst Mode, Panorama, Tap to focus and capability to create slow motion video etc. It also houses a 2-megapixel front-facing camera capable of 1080p HD video recording.
Unfortunately there is no micro SD slot, so you are stuck with either 16GB or 32GB of storage with no option to expand upon that.
It runs Android KitKat 4.4.4 OS and is fuelled by a 2300mAh battery. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11a/g/b/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0LE, Micro-USB, GPS, GLONASS, and 3.5mm audio jack.
