New Delhi: Micromax has launched Canvas Fire 4 smartphone in India at Rs 6,999. The device will be available both on e-commerce websites and physical retail stores starting Monday.
The device comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) resolution display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by an unspecified 1.3GHz quad-core processor, coupled with 1GB of RAM. The highlight of the device is that it runs the latest operating system from Google, the Android 5.0 Lollipop.
The handset supports storage expandability via microSD card (up to 32GB). It has an 8-megapixel rear and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The device is fueled by a a 2000mAh battery, and the company claims that it can deliver up to 300 hours of standby time.
The handset also sports dual front-firing speakers and Cirrus Logic Wolfsan Stereo DAC (WM8918) to enhance the audio output.
Some of the pre-loaded apps on Micromax Canvas Fire 4 are Newshunt, Paytm, Dr. safety, Snapdeal, Saavn, App Center, MAD, Ask me, Clean Master, Quickr, and Chaatz.
