New Delhi: Mercedes-Benz India on Tuesday introduced the sporty and stylish ‘Edition C' in India to celebrate the sale of 10 million cars of the C-Class family world over.
The Edition C is priced at Rs. 39.16 lakh ex-showroom Mumbai. A limited number of 500 units of the Edition C will be available for the Indian market.
“The C-Class remains one of Mercedes-Benz' best-sellers in the competitive entry-level luxury sedan segment. To celebrate the success story of the C-Class which sold more than 10 million units globally, we are presenting the ‘Edition C' for our Indian customers,” Mercedes-Benz India Managing Director & CEO Eberhard Kern told reporters in Mumbai.
‘Edition C' will continue to set newer benchmarks in design, quality and luxury for the segment. It embodies the new generation of agility having a strong impulse for modernity and sportiness and is inspired by the global success of the C-Class, he said.
‘Edition C' is equipped with a 4 cylinder diesel engine with 7G-tronic plus automatic transmission, which enables reduced fuel consumption while delivering high output and torque for unmatched driving pleasure.
Over 10 million cars of the C-Class family sold world over since the global debut of ‘Baby Benz' in 1982.
