New Delhi: Breathing new life to its entry-level segment, Maruti Suzuki India on Monday launched the new Alto K10 priced between Rs 3.06 lakh and Rs 3.80 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
The automatic version of the new Alto K10 costs Rs 3.80 lakh, while the non-automatic version is priced between Rs 3.06 lakh and Rs 3.57 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
The CNG version is priced at Rs 3.81 lakh.
The new Alto K10 mated to its manual gearbox will take on the Hyundai Eon 1.0 and Datsun Go in the entry level hatchback segment.
After the Celerio, the Alto K10 will be the second model to be equipped with auto gear shift (AGS) feature.
While the petrol version delivers a mileage of 24.07 km per litre, the CNG variant will have a fuel economy of 32.26 km per kg.
It will have six different variants and the AGS option will be available only with the top end.
The Alto K10 was launched in 2010 and has clocked cumulative sales of 4.3 lakh units in four years. The Alto brand overall, including the Alto 800, has sold 26 lakh units in 14 years since launch.
