Made mostly of gold, it is the world's most expensive bike

Highly-acclaimed motorcycle designer and builder Tarhan Telli , has built world's most expensive motorcycle which took him more than one year to make. The motorcycle weighs 315 kilograms and boasts of 1801 cc engine and 125 horsepower. Wow! 315 kilos of gold! Although the two-wheeler is covered in yellow and white gold leaves, it is made to look tastefully rustic. Even though the precise price tag of the motorcycle can't be ascertained, experts say it contain over $1 million worth of gold.The bike has even set the new world record for the “most expensive motorcycle”, according to the World Record Academy: The Guinness world record for the Most expensive motorcycle in production was set by The MTT Turbine Superbike, which is powered by a Rolls Royce Allison gas turbine engine, cost $185,000 in 2004.The chopper's tank sports a large sculpted head of the mythical Greek monster Medusa with several snakes to be found spread around the motorcycle. Telli's eye on details has promised that bike looks macho yet elegant thus inspiring awe. At the same time, the Turkish bike lover gave the bike a rugged looks by shunning shimmering gold upholstery for its seat. Instead he opted for materials like fringe and stugs.The chassis and body shell of the motorcyle, which has 6 forward gearboxes, are made of white and yellow gold leaves. It is estimated that most of the gross weight of the motorcycle is derived from its golden frame.Telli unleashed the bike to the general public on the first week of June 2013. The motorcycle derives the bulk of its astronomical price tag from its resplendent gold framed body.The bike derives a peak rated power output of 125HP from its 1801 cc v-twin engine and makes use of a six speed transmission system.
