New Delhi: Lenovo has started sending out press invitations for the launch of Vibe K5 Plus smartphone in India. The handset was announced during the MWC 2016 trade show last month.
In a tweet about the to-be-launched phone, Lenovo India said, "The phone that was a #KnockOut at MWC 2016 will reach India soon. How excited are you? #LenovoMWC". The tweet also has an image of the Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus.
The Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus is a dual-SIM model with 4G LTE connectivity. It will come in Silver, Grey, and Gold colours. The smartphone has a 5-inch IPS LCD full-HD display (1080x1920 pixels).
It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 quad-core SoC with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The device comes with a 13-megapixel rear-camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing sensor.
It supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and has Micro-USB 2.0 connectivity options. It is also backed by a 2750mAh battery and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box.
Lenovo also launched some Android 6.0 Marshmallow tablets and Windows 10 laptops at MWC 2016. The Chinese company launched its Lenovo Tab3 8, Lenovo Tab3 7 and Lenovo Tab3 10 Business.
It also launched the Yoga 710 laptop, the Flex 4 (Yoga 510) laptop, and the Ideapad Mix 310.
