New Delhi: Images of an alleged variant of A7000, the Lenovo A7600-M, have surfaced online. The launch date, availability or the pricing of the device are not yet known.
Going by the "M" in the name, is looks like the smartphone might be region-specific.
According to Mobile Dad website, which leaked the images and the specifications of the Lenovo A7600-M, the innards of the Lenovo A7600-M handset are identical to the Lenovo A7000, but with a better rear camera sensor and battery life.
Lenovo A7600-M is said to come with a 5.5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) resolution display and is powered by a MediaTek MT6752 octa-core chipset coupled with 2GB of RAM. The handset is claimed to feature 8GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (unspecified storage limit).
It features a 13-megapixel rear camera as compared to A7000's 8-megapixel camera, the same 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and a larger 3000mAh battery as compared to A7000's 2900mAh offering. The smartphone is said to run Android 5.0 Lollipop with the company's own Vibe UI 2.5 slapped on top.
From the leaked images, the Lenovo A7600-M seems to sport plastic front and back panels with a metal frame and power/ volume keys. The size and thickness of the handset seems to match that of Lenovo A7000.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE (FDD Band 1, 3, 7, 20; TDD Band 40), Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB.
