New Delhi: Lenovo has launched its much-awaited budget-friendly smartphone, the A7000, in India, pricing it at Rs. 8,999. The new smartphone will be available from April 15 exclusively via Flipkart, and registrations for the first sale begin today.
Lenovo A7000 is a dual-SIM (Micro-SIM) handset featuring a 5.5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display. The device is powered by an octa-core 1.5GHz (MediaTek MT6572M) processor with 2GB of RAM. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with Vibe UI running on top.
A7000 comes with an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front facing camera. Internal storage includes 8GB, which is expandable via microSD card (unknown capacity).
Connectivity options include 4G/ LTE (FDD Band 1, 3, 7, 20; TDD Band 40), Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB.
The device gets its juice from a 2900mAh battery.
A7000 is the successor to the company's popular 4G/ LTE budget offering, the Lenovo A6000.
