New Delhi: Lava has launched an entry-level smartphone, the Lava Iris 310 Style, at Rs 3,749.
It is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device that comes with a 3.5-inch (320x480 pixels) HVGA TFT display. The handset is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek (MT6571) processor coupled with 256MB of RAM and Mali-400 MP GPU. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box.
The device sports 2GB of ROM which can be further expanded by microSD card (up to 32GB). It sports a 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and has a secondary 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard.
Connectivity options include GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth options. The smartphone does not support 3G connectivity.
It packs a 1400mAh battery, which according to the listing is rated to deliver up to 11 hours of talk time, and up to 290 hours of standby time on 2G networks. The Iris 310 Style measures 113x61x12.65mm and will be available in Black, Blue, and Brown colours. It sports metallic back finish.
