New Delhi: Leading generator and distributor Tata Power Thursday said it is executing projects that would increase the company's overall generation capacity by nearly 850 MW.
“Tata Power is in the process of executing a number of power plant projects which, upon completion, are expected to increase the company's overall generation capacity by 849.2 MW,” it said in a statement.

Both projects are being developed by a 50:50 joint venture between Tata Power and Exxaro Resources, called Cennergi.
Tata Power also said it holds 26 percent stake in the Dagachhu Hydroelectric Power Project in Bhutan that is proposed to have an installed capacity of 126 MW.
