New Delhi: ZTE has launched the Star 1 in China at CNY 1399 (Rs 13,500 approximately). It is not clear when the device will be released in global markets.
The LTE-enabled smartphone comes with a 5-inch full-HD (1080x1920) IPS display. It runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box along with MiFavor 2.3 depth customization system interface using a flat design.
The ZTE Star 1 is powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 (MSM8928) processor along with 1GB of RAM.
The device sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and BIS (back-illuminated sensor) along with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
It comes with 16GB and 32GB inbuilt storage variants. It packs a 2300mAh battery and will be available in three colour variants black, pink, and white.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ AGPS, 3G and LTE.
Earlier, ZTE announced the Grand S II smartphone, which was first unveiled at CES this year.
