New Delhi: Recently, Micromax, the country's second largest mobile devices company, started manufacturing handsets at its Rudraprayag facility in Uttarakhand. The facility is now making LEDs, tablets, and smartphones. With this we can now expect ‘made in India' devices from the homegrown handset maker. As per market research firm IDC, the company had 13 per cent market share in total mobile phone segment and 16 per cent in smartphone market in last quarter of 2013. Certainly the company is making big strides in the domestic market with a huge range of smartphones that suits every pocket.
