Samsung Galaxy S5 mini launched with fingerprint and heart rate sensor

New Delhi: Samsung has finally launched a smaller version of its flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S5 Mini, which will be shipped early next month. The pricing and market availability of the device is yet to




 
The S5 Mini offers the same look and feel of the S5, maintaining the golfball-like perforated backplate that will be available at launch in black, white, blue, and ‘copper gold'.
 



It has a 4.5-inch display and includes a Super AMOLED display with a 720x1280 resolution (the S4 Mini had a qHD display at 960x540 pixels).




 
As expected, there's also a 1.4GHz quad-core processor, Android 4.4, 16GB internal memory (expandable up to 64) and 1.5GB of RAM.



 
The device sports an eight-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera as well as Samsung's software camera features. The smartphone will be offered with the latest version of Google's Android software: Android 4.4 KitKat.
