New Delhi: Micromax's latest Canvas series smartphone, the Canvas Power, is now available in India for Rs 9,900. The phone is available on company's online store at Rs. 9,900, and will be delivered in 7 to 10 business days.
The major highlight of the smartphone is its huge 4000mAh battery, which according to the official listing delivers up to 5.5 hours of talktime and up to 450 hours of standby time. It is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device which runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box.
The phone competes against the likes of Lenovo P780, a smartphone that boasted of a huge 4000mAh battery.
It comes with a 5-inch TFT display with a resolution of (FWVGA) 480x854 pixels. The device is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor with 512MB of RAM. It has 4GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
The smartphone comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, while there is no word on the front-facing camera. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth.
Preloaded apps include Games (Bubble X Slice and Catch a Mouse), Kingsoft, Hike, Opera Mini and M! Live.
Earlier the company launched Micromax's new budget offering, the Canvas Elanza, which is available at an e-commerce website for Rs. 9,400.
