New Delhi: Micromax is all set to launch the Bolt A61, a new budget smartphone in the Bolt series, in India. The smartphone was recently spotted on company's official website and is available in grey color.
Though the price and availability of the smartphone has not been disclosed by the company it is likely to cost around Rs 6500.
The Bolt A61 comes with a 4-inch (480 x 800 pixels) display and is powered by 1GHz Spreadtrum SC7710 processor. It packs a 2-megapixel rear camera with flash and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera.
The phone runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It offers dual SIM support with dual standby, just like other Micromax smartphones, and also has 3G support.
The lose point about A61 is its low RAM. It packs only 256MB of RAM and 512MB of internal storage.
Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, micro USB. The device gets its juice from a 1500 mAh battery which the company claims to offer you 3.55 hours of talktime and 160 hours of standby time.
