New Delhi: An alleged press render of the HTC One (M8) mini a.k.a HTC One mini 2 has been leaked shows that the device will arrive sans the duo camera. Instead, the device will get a 13-megapixel rear camera. The camera wouldn't offer any post-production editing features either.
The press render leaked by PhoneArena shows that the mini variant will look exactly the same as the flagship device, but in a compact package.
The rumoured HTC One mini 2 will feature a 4.5-inch display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. The device will be powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.7GHz coupled with 1GB of RAM, and will run Android 4.4.2 with HTC's latest Sense 6.0 UI.
The smartphone is said to come with a 5-megapixel front facing camera, as seen on the HTC One (M8). The internal storage will be 16GB with the option to expand via a microSD card.
Last year, the Taiwanese company released its flagship HTC One smartphone, followed by the mid-range variant HTC One mini.
If the rumors are to be trusted, the HTC One mini 2 will go on sale this month, but there is no official word at the moment.
