New Delhi: Asus India has officially released the new Nexus 7 tablet in India for Rs 20,999. The tablet will be available through leading retail chains such as Croma, Reliance Digital Stores and the likes. Last month, Google launched the Nexus 7 (2013) in India along with the Nexus 5.
Nexus 7 comes with an IPS touch display of 7 inches with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a pixel density of 323 ppi.
The tablet gets is power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad core processor of 1.5 GHz alongside a 2GB RAM. The device lacks expandable storage.
The tablet also comes with 5MP rear camera, 1.2MP front camera, and Android 4.3 (Android 4.4 update available).
Other features include dual stereo speakers, 3,950mAh non-removable battery that is claimed to deliver 9 hours of HD video playback and 10 hours of web browsing.
Connectivity options include HDMI output, NFC and 4G LTE support and runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
