New Delhi: Lamborghini will soon launch its new 88 Tauri smartphone that comes with Italian design, premium material and a good range of specs.
Just like Lamborghini cars, the 88 Tauri not only offers good looks but also the muscle, at least for those who can afford it.
Tauri 88 is made of steel (available in Gold, Black or plain steel colors) and leather (a choice of Black, Blue, Red, Orange and Brown) complete with decorative stitches. Designed in Italy the smartphone comes with the recognizable raging bull logo (which was inspired by the Taurus constellation).
Tonino Lamborghini 88 Tauri offers a 5” 1080p display alongside an oleophobic (meaning smudge-free) coating over the Gorilla Glass 3 layer, accompanied by a 10-point touch panel. The device is powered by a quad-core 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 processor, along with 3GB RAM.
It sports a 20MP camera at the back with a dual LED flash, an 8MP shooter in front, and a 3,400mAh battery, all of it running on Android 4.4.4 KitKat as the mobile operating system of choice.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, and 3G. It will be available in Mystic Blue and Angelic White colours.
It features LTE connectivity as well as being able to handle a couple of SIM cards, which means you can keep your personal and professional lives separate if you so desire.
The handset sports a price tag of $6,000, with sales starting in late December. There will only be 1947 of its kind to be made.
