New Delhi: Japanese two-wheeler major Kawasaki on Monday expanded its range of motorcycles in India with the launch of Z800 model, priced atRs.8.05 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The company aims to sell around 400 completely built units (CBUs) of five models this year.
“In 2014, we expect to sell around 400 units of five CBU models in the country, including the Z800,” India Kawasaki Motors deputy managing director Shigeto Nishikawa told PTI.
He added that the company also plans to sell around 1,400 units of Ninja 300 and Ninja 650 models, which are assembled in India.
The 806 cc Z800 model is the company' fifth CBU model in India. The other models being—14R, 10R, Z1000, Ninja 1000.
Last year, the company had sold 25 units of CBU's and 1000 units of two locally assembled CKD models in the country.
