Dubai, June 24: Seven flights in a week from Kochi to Kuwait have been started by Jet Airways via the Abu DhabiInternational Airport, officials said.
The airline currently operates 11 direct flights in a week between Mumbai and Abu Dhabi and another seven direct flights a week between New Delhi and Abu Dhabi.
According to officials the new route will operate Boeing 737 Next Generation (NG) aircraft with 170 seats. "We are delighted to see that our airline partners are expanding their services to meet growing demand from passengers. This new route provides a vital connection between two markets that are important for Abu Dhabi-- India and Kuwait," said Ahmad Al Haddabi, Chief Operations Officer at - Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC).
"Abu Dhabi International Airport looks forward to providing business and leisure travelers with world-class services," he said.
