Super-fast processors
Samsung Galaxy S6: Exynos 7420 64-bit octa-core, Mali T760 GPU, 3GB RAM
iPhone 6: Apple A8 64-bit dual-core 1.4GHz, PowerVR GX6450 GPU, 1GB RAM
The iPhone 6 comes with features Apple's punchy A8 CPU, a dual-core 64-bit chip with a seriously swift GPU attached backed by 1 GB LPDDR3 RAM.
On the internals, Samsung has opted for its own 64-bit octa-core Exynos 7420 processor. The Exynos 7420 packs a punch to the speedy performance of the phone, and paired with 3GB of next-gen LPDDR4 RAM builds up a pretty impressive picture. The S6 has the raw power and multitasking capability to everything that's thrown at it.
On Geekbench 3 multi-core benchmark tests, the S6 comes out on top. However, in day-to-day performance both are extremely quick and slick.
While Samsung offers 32, 64, or 128GB models across the S6 line, Apple opts for 16, 64, or 128GB storage options in the iPhone 6 line.
