New Delhi: Intex has launched a new budget smartphone, the Aqua Amaze, at Rs 10,690.
Intex Aqua Amaze comes with a 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.4GHz MediaTek MT6592M octa-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. Internal storage includes 8GB that can be expanded using a microSD card.
The smartphone comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor, and a 5-megapixel selfie camera at the front. It also features FM Radio, a 2,000mAh battery, and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0. It runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
The Aqua Amaze competes against the likes of Obi Octopus S520, and the Micromax Canvas Nitro A310 among others.
Priced at Rs 10,690, the Intex Aqua Amaze becomes the cheapest octa-core smartphone you can buy today.
Available in two premium colors - light blue and black - the phone will be up for grabs at all leading mobile retail outlets in India starting today.
