New Delhi, April 30: The dual-SIM tablet is powered by a 1Ghz dual-core processor, and has 1GB of RAM. It runs Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich and comes with 4GB internal memory which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The tablet also offers HDMI connectivity which makes it to connect to a bigger screen.
Available in two colors - black and brown; the tablet sports a 3-megapixel rear camera and a 1.3-megapixel front facing one.
It comes pre-loaded with apps such as Nimbuzz, Skype, Facebook, and Yahoo Messenger.
“Our latest offering is for the urban and semi-urban youth. The i-Buddy Connect 3G aims to provide entertainment and education to our customers, considering a huge portion of them are high users of internet. India's booming digital economy is poised to reach 350-450 million by 2015-16 and we at Intex are encouraging the growth trend by creating such products that would empower the youth to have the latest technology a click away," said Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, General Manager- Mobile Business, Intex Technologies.
The tablet specifically caters to the students with its pre-loaded educational application Educlass.
This application includes a slew of educational content including preloaded NCERT text books from class 1- 2, large repository of question banks and interactive content for various subjects.
